This is a quickly growing forum, and with many new sections coming soon, we're going to need some more mods! If you feel capable of handling your very own subboard, read on and fill out the form below. Section mods have the ability to edit posts, delete posts, lock and move threads, and access the moderator-only subboard. You're free to apply for any section you wish. However, you must be an active member who can stay calm during calamities and professionally handle spam, trolls and out-of-hand members. You must also be able to tolerate potentially disturbing posts and images, especially in the role-play and art areas. You need to know the forum rules well enough to properly enforce them in your section.
You may not abuse your position as a moderator to edit, delete, or act superior to fellow users. You may only work in your section unless the global mods or admin call you to go elsewhere, such as in the event of a troll. Also, you must be fair to all topics. If you see one you personally don't like, don't immediately lock it. Only lock or edit topics that directly violate the rules. Any violations of these guidelines and you will be stripped of moderators' position and power.
It was in the original plan for this forum to have all Parliament members as moderators. If they so choose, some Parliament will be assuming the position of Global Moderators. As Global Mods, they can do everything a section mod can, while gaining the ability to ban members and peruse all subboards.
Unfortuately on proboards, section moderators do not have the ability to ban or suspend users. Only Admins and Global Mods have that ability. This is no fault of Eises and mine; proboards simply doesn't support that feature.
If you're interested in being a section mod, post this form on this thread and I'll look into it. If your reason is "because I'm awesome" or something along those lines, your request will be ignored and you will not be considered in the future.
