Better than me I guess. I just take letters that sound good and mash them together cx Either that or I take the word that I want the name to mean and take letters out of it. For example, Athaos came from "Shadow of Death". I really need to write her bio. She has a pretty cool story o3o pretty much what I do. ^^ For instance, in my book, there's a kid named Salux. I took his name from the latin for 'salus', meaning 'safety', and 'lux' meaning 'light. He's the healer. :o how'd you come up w that name?

Athaos is the little plague baby wildclaw that I put up a couple pages back or so. She's a Shadow dragon though, so I thought it would be really cool to get a name that had something to do with death and darkness, and shadow of death was the obvious choice. However, can't use that name because a)it's a mouthful and b) doesn't work in the fr naming system (no spaces and such). So I took these letters out of it and came up with Athaos ^^ Shadow of Death

that's more sophisticated than my method. i just garble random sounds out until I get one I like. :P look at this pretty gurl: I don't even LIKE Guardians and I can appreciate her still. She's Ice/Ice/Silver. (Iri/str/cir) I also seem to have a problem where none of my fae pairs seem able to give me male hatchlings. In all my pairings (Reoan/Vitreus, Vitreus/Aicsean, Athas/UN, Cor/Reitlin/Crov, etc etc etc) I've only gotten 6 males (Kroven, Doskver, Cisean, Karengol, Sruthan, and Aigean). 6 males out of 46 females. And that's only with the faes. My nests are cursed, methinks.

I love Guardians. They're gorgeous, especially that girl ^^
Your faes are cursed Quies xD Idk, Mari cursed me. I used to get three egg nests on average, but ever since we talked about how many eggs we usually get per nest, she's cursed me with two egg nests cx Thanks Mari xD

Lately I've been having double or single egg nests. It's awful.

It especially sucks when you're breeding for fodder. It's like, that's my main source of income. Two egg nests are not appreciated.

eh, I don't think I've bred for fodder since my early days. since you know I'm not really an exalt/dom-push sort of person, and my main hobby is breeding for appearances. Or at least what I think is appealing. Lately I've noticed a lot of my color scheme has been looking a bit too gray/black/white, so I'm trying to spice it up by throwing some color in. We'll see how I fair.
The most anxious nests are the ones that will be either horrible or amazing. You know, where offspring either look like deities or sewer vomit. And when you only get one/two egg nests for those...sheesh. Right now I've got Rilastt and Athraithe together on a clutch of three. They're my two crystal gene'd and their offspring outcomes are 80% appealing, usually with white/gray scale primary (sometimes leaning a little platinum or blue tinged) and cool-colored secondary (greens, soft purples, blues, etc). Pretty safe nest. Then I have Cisean and Resallia, with one egg. The outcomes are total wildcards given their drastically different colors and genes. It'll either be amazing or a neon-pink horror show.

The Rilastt/Athraithe nest hatched. Look at these gorgeous little dragons!! Grey Crys/Teal Shim/Violet Basic, Male White Crys/Seafoam Shim/Navy Basic, Female Ice Crys/Charcoal Shim/Blue Basic, Male At first I was kind of sad that they have no tertiary (like their parents), but after some fiddling in the scry, I figured that they actually look better without one. The only tert gene I liked on them was spines, anyways. Definitely keepers, especially the second!

Dang they look good Quies o3o
In other news, I reached 800kt thanks to the dom push, and I just spent half of it on genes cx

I make most my money off of familiar bonding and item selling (I'm at lvl 25 for both digging and scavenging so I get the good stuff). Occasionally I sell dragons. Usually make about 10k-20k a day that way. If I had the patience to train dragons to level 25, maybe I would STEP (snipe, train, exalt, profit), but honestly the coliseum is far too tedious for someone as impatient as me. The highest I've gotten in level 14.

That single anxiety nest hatched, and thankfully, it was not a neon pink horror show. she's female, btw. Her adult-form wings remind me of copper, so maybe I'll name her Aeris (Latin).
